'ow to re'eat ol chips from the icebox at 'ome so theyre crunchy on the outside an fluffy on the inside. its proper rum, an e said e tried loads o' stuff before e found summat wot worked. lets see if i remember it...

so first ya gotta put the ol chips from the icebox in a bit o warm water fer a minute. rum right??? but trust me on this 'un. then ya take em out an give em a right good shake in a jar or summat—this gets em all roughed up so they crisp up nice when ya cook em.

after that, ya need to boil em gently fer a minute or two, jus enough to soften the insides but not cook em fully. then ya drain em well before ya pop em in the oven fer a bit, but dont be addin no oil yet!! ya do that after they come out, so they dont get soggy. outta the oven, pour on some oil an give em a good bit o salt too (did ya know chips soak in a 'ole lot o' fat??), then let em rest fer a minute.

the boss'd swear on it, an i gotta say, its a neat trick. ...i jus aint sure why e'd save ol chips in the ice box to begin wiv... 🤔
